1. Consent — How You Join

You will only receive text messages from us if you have given prior express written consent. We obtain that consent in one of these ways:

  • Checking an unchecked consent box on one of our web forms. The consent language appears next to the box, not hidden behind a link, and reads substantially as follows:

I agree to receive recurring informational text messages from Bradford Strategies at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.

  • Texting a keyword to one of our numbers to start a conversation.
  • Giving consent in writing in a signed services agreement or an email confirming you want text updates about your project.

Consent is never a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive texts to buy anything from us, to get a quote, or to receive an audit.

Marketing and non-marketing consent are separate. Agreeing to receive service messages about an active project does not enroll you in promotional messages, and vice versa. Each is requested separately.

We do not text purchased leads. We do not buy contact lists, and we do not rely on consent a third-party lead vendor claims to have obtained on our behalf. Consent must name Bradford Strategies as the sender and must have been given directly to us. We do not spam.

We keep a record of your consent — what language was displayed, the date and time, the page or channel, and what you affirmatively did — and we keep it for at least four years after you opt out.

2. What We Send

We send appointment reminders and project-status updates for people who have booked a call or who are already working with us. With a separate opt-in, we may also send occasional promotional messages about our services. We do not send daily blasts or purchased-list campaigns.

We do not send messages containing content prohibited by carrier rules, including messages relating to cannabis, firearms, tobacco or vaping, prescription drugs requiring a prescription, gambling, high-risk financial offers, debt collection or forgiveness, or loans.

3. How to Stop — Opting Out

Reply STOP to any message. You may also reply END, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, OPT OUT, or any other reasonable indication that you want the messages to stop. We will not require you to use a specific word, and we will not require you to use a specific channel.

You may also opt out by emailing [email protected], replying to any email from us, or calling 610-442-7624.

When you opt out:

  • You will receive one final confirmation message acknowledging the opt-out. After that, no further messages will be sent.
  • We honor opt-outs promptly and in all cases within 10 business days, as required by the Federal Communications Commission’s consent revocation rules (47 C.F.R. § 64.1200(a)(10)). In practice our system stops messages immediately.
  • Your number is added to a permanent suppression list so it is not re-added by mistake.

Scope of your opt-out. If you opt out of one type of message from us, we treat it as an opt-out of that program. Beginning January 31, 2027, the extended effective date of the FCC’s revocation-scope rule, an opt-out received through any channel will apply to all marketing and informational text messages and calls we would otherwise send you, unless you tell us you want to keep receiving a specific category. If you would like that broader treatment before then, just say so and we will apply it.

Rejoining. If you opt out and later want messages again, text START to the same number or give consent again through a form. Opting out and rejoining does not affect your services or your relationship with us in any way.

4. Getting Help

Reply HELP to any message and you will receive a reply identifying Bradford Strategies and giving contact information. You can also email [email protected] or call 610-442-7624.

For help with your device, plan, or message delivery, contact your mobile carrier.

5. Costs

We do not charge you for messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure. You are responsible for any charges your carrier imposes.

6. Privacy and Your Mobile Number

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Your mobile number and consent record are used only to operate this messaging program. They are disclosed only to:

  • Twilio, Inc., the messaging platform that transmits our messages, acting as our processor; and
  • mobile carriers, to the extent necessary to deliver a message to your handset.

Message records are available in Twilio for up to 13 months and then become unavailable through the Twilio console and API.

Neither our messaging provider nor any carrier is permitted to use your number for its own marketing.

Our full Privacy Policy explains everything else we do with personal information.

7. Delivery and Availability

Message delivery depends on your carrier’s network and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Neither are we liable for delayed or undelivered messages, for messages delivered to a number you no longer control, or for any consequence of a message not arriving.

If you change or give up your mobile number, please tell us. We may use industry-standard number-change and deactivation data to stop messaging a number that has been reassigned.

Do not use text messages for anything urgent. Do not text us in an emergency — call 911.

8. Your Responsibilities

  • Give us a mobile number you own or are authorised to use.
  • Tell us promptly if your number changes or you no longer want messages at it.
  • Do not give us someone else’s number without their permission.

9. Program Operation and Registration

10. Compliance Commitments

We operate this program in accordance with:

  • The Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. § 227, and the FCC’s implementing rules at 47 C.F.R. § 64.1200, including the prior-express-written-consent requirement for marketing messages and the consent revocation rules effective April 11, 2025.
  • The CAN-SPAM Act and the FTC’s Telemarketing Sales Rule, where applicable.
  • Pennsylvania’s Telemarketer Registration Act, 73 P.S. § 2241 et seq. Note the change: Pennsylvania Senate Bill 992, signed July 20, 2026 and effective October 18, 2026, expands “telephone solicitation” to cover text messages and ringless voicemail, requires prior express written consent for solicitation to residential, business, and wireless lines, and restricts solicitation to 9:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m., with no calls or texts on Sundays or legal holidays. We observe those windows for all Pennsylvania recipients.
  • The National Do Not Call Registry, We do not conduct outbound cold calling or texting campaigns; we contact only people who have contacted us or who are existing clients.
  • Carrier and CTIA messaging principles and best practices, and the registration requirements of The Campaign Registry.

We send messages only between 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the recipient’s local time zone.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms. The “Last updated” date shows when. If a change materially affects the program — a new message type, a materially different frequency, or a new sender — we will notify you by text or email before the change takes effect, and where required we will ask for your consent again. Continuing to receive messages after notice means you accept the update.

12. Disclaimers, Liability, and Disputes

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the messaging program is provided “as is.” Our liability arising from this program is subject to the limitation of liability in our Terms of Service, Section 14.

Disputes about this messaging program are subject to the dispute resolution and arbitration provisions in our Terms of Service, Section 18, including the 30-day opt-out.

Nothing in these SMS Terms limits any right you have under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act or any other law that cannot be waived by agreement.
