Cookie Policy
Effective date: August 18, 2026
Last updated: August 18, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Bradford Strategies LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on https://bradfordstrategies.com/. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with the information these technologies collect.
Manage your choices at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page.
1. What These Technologies Are
- Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. First-party cookies are set by the domain you are visiting; third-party cookies are set by another domain.
- Local storage and session storage hold data in your browser without sending it with every request. Session storage clears when you close the tab.
- Pixels and tags are small pieces of code or 1×1 images that record that a page loaded or an action occurred.
- Software development kits and scripts are JavaScript files a vendor supplies that we place on the Site to enable a feature such as chat, call tracking, or heatmaps.
We use the word “cookies” throughout to cover all of these.
About stated durations. The expiry values below are what each vendor documents. Browsers may shorten them: Chrome caps first-party cookies at 400 days, and Safari’s Intelligent Tracking Prevention limits script-set cookies to 7 days. The real lifetime on your device may therefore be shorter than the table says.
2. Categories We Use
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Page delivery, security, load balancing, spam and bot prevention, remembering your cookie choices, form anti-forgery protection | Always on; cannot be disabled |

| Functional | Chat widget state, scheduling widgets, remembering preferences, A/B test assignment | Opt-in in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland; opt-out elsewhere |
| Marketing and attribution | Measuring which campaign produced a lead, conversion tracking, remarketing audiences, dynamic phone number insertion | Opt-in in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland; opt-out elsewhere |

Google Analytics uses your IP address to derive coarse location and for spam and abuse detection, and discards the raw IP address after use. Raw IP addresses are not available in our reports. Data retention follows the setting configured in Google Analytics. Opt out across all websites with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Google’s practices: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
HubSpot — HubSpot, Inc.
| Name | Party | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__hstc | First-party | Main visitor-tracking cookie; stores the domain, a visitor identifier, and timestamps for the first, previous, and current visit | 6 months |
hubspotutk | First-party | Keeps a visitor’s identity so form submissions can be tied to a contact record and duplicates avoided | 6 months |
__hssc | First-party | Tracks the current session and page views within it | 30 minutes |
__hssrc | First-party | Records whether you restarted your browser | Session |
HubSpot also uses browser local and session storage — including __hmpl and hublytics_events_* — to hold event metadata briefly before it is sent. These are storage entries rather than cookies.
HubSpot acts as our processor and, for California purposes, as a service provider that does not sell or share personal information. HubSpot’s cookie documentation: knowledge.hubspot.com.

4. Cookies We Do Not Use
We do not use Meta (Facebook) Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Microsoft Advertising UET, or any data broker or identity-resolution script on this Site.
We do not embed video players on pages that also carry advertising pixels.
5. Your Choices
5.1 Cookie Settings
The Cookie Settings link in the Site footer opens the consent tool on every page. You can change your choices at any time; changes take effect immediately and apply going forward. We ask again at least every 12 months, and whenever we add a tool in a new category.
5.2 Regional consent behaviour
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland — non-essential cookies are blocked until you give consent. Nothing in the analytics, functional, or marketing categories loads before you choose.
- United States — analytics and functional cookies load by default; you may opt out at any time. Marketing cookies and any sale or sharing of personal information are subject to the opt-out described below.
5.3 Global Privacy Control
5.4 Do Not Sell or Share
Use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the footer to opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money.
5.5 Browser controls
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies:
Blocking all cookies will break parts of the Site, including forms and chat.
5.6 Industry opt-out tools
- Digital Advertising Alliance: optout.aboutads.info
- Network Advertising Initiative: optout.networkadvertising.org
- European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: youronlinechoices.eu
These set an opt-out cookie in the browser you use them in. Clearing cookies clears the opt-out.
6. Do Not Track
There is no agreed industry standard for how a site should respond to a browser “Do Not Track” header, so we do not respond to it.
7. Changes
We update this policy whenever we add, remove, or reconfigure a tool that sets cookies. The “Last updated” date shows when. Material changes are announced through the consent tool, which will ask for your choices again.
